I think so too

but now that I read through the 5 pages...

when you say:
Quote:
hmmm is there anything at all that we 4 have in common that nobody else?

and that would be I think: monty, phppp, rowdie, lance, jensclass...

...you're all parte of the management team right? and most probably have other logins in other XOOPS subsites

nevermind, it was just a thought that sometimes the solution to the problem is where you least think it is and it ocurred to me there could be a clashing of something in between the XOOPS sites inside the XOOPS server

Re: can any1 confirm (prob on xoops.org)

For me it is an unsolved mystery - I was in Monty's position and one day just like magic it went away as if my fairy godmother had waved her magic wand. Can't tell you why or how, but to be honest, I think it all came back for me after the site webmasters repaired something after DB connection failures. If it was something I did - well that could be anything - I am nto tech minded so I don;t have my eye on the ball with what software problem might be causing something to happen...i just look for answers when I need to. Sorry i can't be more helpful. I could look into when it was that things came back for me - it is possble it was this: i recall posting at sourceforge - anyone else having problems with XOOPS -so if I find that post it would after that when XOOPS came back that things worked.

Well for my part Snow, I'm a nobody here, so I'd be an exception to your list.

Lance_,

Everybody here is somebody. Without the contributing members of this community, XOOPS wouldn't exist.

RE: The problem at hand...

I suspect it's in relation to corrupted database entries. I also suspect that it will be resolved with the new sites.

Best Regards,

James
