Some users tell me that access to Netmunity.com is denied...

...what might be the reason?

However, I am able to access to my web site by every PC and browser that I use and some friends of mine too.

XOOPS Version: XOOPS 2.0.16
XOOPS Theme: obscene_v3_3c
PHP Version: 4.3.11
MySQL Version: 4.0.27-standard-log
Server Software: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix)
Security: Protector 2.57

check if the protector module hasn't blocked their IP addresses.

Hi Herko,

the only Bad IP in Protect Center tab is 127.0.0.1 but the same IP is also considered as Reliable IP in Protector Preferences tab.

I am not an expert and I don't know if Protector features might cause this problem.

Check the faq's on firewalls and cookies - maybe it is their setup causing the problem.

Sorry but what exactly does "Some users tell me that access to Netmunity.com is denied" mean?

Are they getting an error message? (Whats the exact text then?)
Or just a white page? (which would look like ip ban indeed)

just a guess maybe it is filtered for those users?
at least it is filtered for users from Iran.
it seems Iran filtered all munity sites.

However, in October, when Netmunity.com was under construction, I received one contact just from Iran:

Hi Bender,

the error message is just: Error: Access Is Denied

I think that the problem is due to the proxy settings of those users.

I tend to agree so there is not much you can do about it.

Is the Error Shown by XOOPS or the Server, ask?

As if Xoops, then it will be something that can be fixed here
