I think you need XOOPS trusted path only if you are using fast cache hack, Duplicatable V3 modules or XOOPS Cube 2.1.

Regular XOOPS modules should be placed in /modules folder.

I think stephan88 is correct. I myself have never heard of the xoops_trusted_path until your post this morning. And I have used and upgraded with 2.0.13, on up to 2.0.16. I forget, are you actually using GI Joes fast cache or the Cube?
I don't use a couple of the modules you have listed. Maybe you could (if you haven't already) systematically deactivate or even un-install them one at a time to see if one of the modules is giving you problems.

i'll do that and i'll let you know guys! Thanks for your help!

(by the way not using any dublicatable modules or the hack from gijoe's or XOOPS Cube just the XOOPS 2.0.15 version with the multilanguage hack which I've already used again with no probs!)

XOOPS 2.0.15 or any XOOPS version does NOT use a xoops_trusted_path.

so if you are having trouble with xoops_trusted_path then you must have either installed 1 of GIJOES hacks or you are not using XOOPS and are using XOOPS Cube instead.
