I searched and did everything the sticky told me, but still that didn't solve the problem of the blank home page.

first i did that thing xoops.md5, and that told me all the files in the folder "install" was missing
, so i uploaded the folder "install" again. now it still gives me this in the debug window:

You don't have anything the Php Debug's mode ?

Turn on debug:
To switch on debug, go to system admin-->preferences and then general settings. You will see a "Debug mode" field. Choose "PHP Debug". Click on 'all' so when it is on all your errors are shown.

Did you upload to the right folder?
