I've tried adding an image using the image manager to a block I have on my homepage, but its displaying the HTML code for the image and not the image - Any ideas why this may be happening? How do I resolve it?

If the image below does not work for you... then perhaps you'll show us the code. I see your image and text just fine.

If you are inserting an image from the image manager in the block i.e using XOOPS code tags make sure you select Auto Format from the content type dropdown.

If you are using html to display an image
<img src="http://asite.com/yourimage.jpg" />
ensure HTML is selected in the content type dropdown.

I just installed XOOPS and I haven't installed any modules. I'm trying to upload an image to a block using Image Manager. However, the Image Manager has an empty drop-down list and an empty submit button. Does anybody know what the problem is?

OS: Linux
webserver: Apache

The empty dropdown box means you don't have any image categories created...see THIS FAQ here on xoops.org that will explain how to ad an image in an article/block

Thanks! That worked.

Shouldn't there be a message on Image Manager telling the user that he needs to create a Category instead of showing empty drop-down list and empty submit button?
