It was in root/index.php. I had put that in a while ago and forgot about it. I knew in the back of my mind that I must have put "TEST" somewhere but I didn't remember where. Duhhhh

You led me in the right direction. Thanks!

I'm using the 7dana-Xred theme. It has this in theme.html:

<!-- End display center blocks -->
<
div id="content"><{$xoops_contents}></div>

$xoops_contents is writing "TEST" onto my webpage.

I checked style.css and xoops.css and "TEST" is not in those files. In fact, "content" is not in those files.

I checked the xoops_modules and xoops_content tables in my database and I dont' see "TEST".

Where does this content come from exactly?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I tried installing a couple of Modules and it gave me these messages:

"failed open file"

"Unable to write to main menu."

I've already successfully installed Modules into my site before. I don't know why I'm getting these errors now.

Does anybody know what the problem and fix is?

I installed the multiMenu module tohttp://tomwu.com , but I haven't been able to make the menu work like the menu onhttp://www.ida.ca/whatsnew_en.asp . I can't seem to get a submenu to appear when I hover over "multiMenu 01".

As you can see onhttp://tomwu.com , I'm able to get links to appear when I hover over "Test1", but they are appearing below "Test1" instead of to the right side. How can I make them appear to the right side?

Also, if I have to use "Test1", then I like to have it replace "multiMenu 01". Is this possible?

Yes, I fixed it myself. Instead of giving Write permissions to mainfile.php, cache, uploads and templates_c, I gave them "full permissions". This seemed to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for replying to my post.

I welcome your help. How do I check my PM? Is that the same thing as my "Inbox"? If so, I don't see your message there.

Did anybody get the Mediashow module to work?

I tried to post ontohttp://membres.lycos.fr/winsion/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=1&lid=7 before posting this, but that website won't allow me and every time I try to register, it fails.

When an anonymous user clicks on one of the videos to play, it gives this error message:

Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area.
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

If you're signed in as Admin and click on one of the videos to play, it gives this error message:

Media video loading...
If the page does not automatically reload, please click here

You can check it out athttp://tomwu.com . Does anybody know what the problem and fix is?

Thanks for your reply! I will check out that multiMenu module.

The sub-menu links will take the user to various pages, obviously. I want to enable the Site Administrator to upload PDF documents to these various pages so that users can download these PDF documents. Which module should I use to do that and where can I find this module?
