Hi there!

I have just installed XOOPS 2.0.15 and then I installed CBB 3.05.

Problem 1)
If I go to the Adminarea and klick on the Forum/Prefs...
First the menu look strange. Gets word like this: _AM_NEWBB_CATADMIN
All text to the left is gone.

Problem 2)
If I goto the forum to check on it also there it show words like this: _MD_INACTIVEFORUM_NEWPOSTS

Some text works correctly but the most words looks strange.

Any one that could help me?

* Sorry for my english. Hope you understand me. :)

Have a great day!

Aside from the XOOPS version, module and your description more information will help:

Quote:
[b] Please help us help you: have you done this?
Before posting please do a search in the XOOPS top right "Search" box using appropriate "keywords" and find out if the subject has been dealt with before. Also look through the FAQ’s, especially if you're unsure what search words to use.

I couldn’t find any related issues by searching what next?

Turn on debug:
To switch on debug, go to system admin-->preferences and then general settings. You will see a "Debug mode" field. Choose "PHP Debug". Then go to the page that has problems and copy and paste any error messages under php-debug messages in the template below.

Sounds like something is wrong with your modules/system/admin folders. I would download XOOPS again and paste that folder overtop the one on the server. Make a backup first though, not sure if the install edits any of those files.

I seen things like that making my shell command console on the admin window, mostly caused by PHP that wasn't quite right or files out of place.

Hi again!

I removed CBB 3.05 and installed CBB 3.06 and it seems to work. I will test it for a while and see if it works.

Didn't have any luck with 3.06, so I tried to install 3.05 again and now it almost working. The only problems now is that when I try to post a new message or replay a post, then I get a blank page. I have swithed the PHP debugger on but get no errors. Only Queris, Blocks and Timers

I have installed xoopseditor in ../Frameworks/xoops22/class
I have renamed plugin.dist.php to plugin.php
I have changed // Set the default editor. to this:
$customConfig["editor_default"] = "dhtmltextarea";
I checked $customConfig["syncOnUpdate"] = false; and I found somewhere that it sould be set as false but that didn't solve the problem.

The Xoopseditor that i upload was: xoops-editors-moon
The Frameworks version that I uploaded was: 2.11

I guess that I have looked in all threads but maybe I missed something. Hope someone could help me.

It seems others have this problem too - keep an eye on this thread as contributers are explaining what they are doing to try and track down the problem.

I only want to tell that I have now made it. :)

I have to same a little bit.

I had uploaded the Xoops-editor in a wrong folder.
I uploaded it to ../xoops/Frameworks/xoops22/class/

Then I found somewhere here on the forum that it should be uploaded to ../xoops/class/

Next time I have to read better.

Thanks for all the help. I like Xoops.

Have som other questions about someother modules but I should search some first, but it could happend that I post a new question later if I dosen't find anything.

Have a great weekend all you kind people!!

IMHO it should better to put more checks in cbb module like:
if(!file_exists ...
{
echo (" you must upload editor in XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/class/xoopseditors"
}

just in case
