The XSAS is a great tool for tasting, testing and developing XOOPS (I have been using it for a long time), also could help a lot for promoting XOOPS.

I have planned to release to our local community. Before that, I wish two "problems" fixed:

1 Make language configurable/translatible
2 Refine the readme. At this moment the "About XSAS" says With a single click an unintrusive local test server is up and running, allowing you a hassle free way to get going with Mambo Open Source in an amazingly short period of time, which MUST be changed.

Ever asked on the SF xsas forum but no response.

Mikhail Miguel of the brazillian support site has been continuing this development, perhaps you should look at his work. See the info he adds to the XSAS download.

Wamp5 works well if you can't get your xsas.

You could also try Webserver on a stick.

I tend to use EasyPHP as it is one of the few remaining WAMPs that still use PHP 4.x and mySQL 4.x.

Cheers.
