I get this message in the admin menu:

"WARNING: File /home/*******/public_html/xoops/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)"

Yes, I can see the warning, but it would be nice if it hinted to what action the user should take.

What I meant was.. in what module, block or file do I change that .. and how?

it has no concern with xoops, if u dont know how to change the permission , u should refer to the OS system manual or ask system admin 's help
