Dear All,

Could somebody please shed some light into the process of registering a user with the XOOPS database? What are the files involved and in what sequence?

Go to admin/system/users and add the user. Make sure the user has the group access you want them to have too.

Hi Quest,

Thanks for your reply. I didn't exactly mean that - what I want to know is once the user hits the register button of the registration form what are the XOOPS file involved in the process of registering the user, not how you can do it through the interface.

Well, Even I'am not a coder, I think it is the file [EDITED: see post #5] "kernel/user.php" that updates the records in the database table "xoops_users".

BTW, you can also join the Greek XOOPS Support!!

kernel/user.php, u must learn about how XOOPS core run at first

Thanks a lot xuser for the correction. As I said, I'am not a coder/programmer but I use to "dig" as much as I can
