Can't see user account

Hi,
When I try to access the user account page, i got this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/etc/modules/news/include/search.inc.php on line 40


Anyone know how to solve this?

have you turned on the bebugs? Checkt the read b4 u post section and come back with more information please.

I turned de phpdebug on, that how i got this error, without the debug on i got a blank page...any idea?

I'm using version 2.0.13.2, any file that you would like to check? i've changed the module name, but i've checked all files to replace the old name with the new one, did it twice already..

Try restoring the original name.

I cant restore the original name, i really would like to keep this name so what should i do?
