Please help me out - My website is slow.

dudes my website is this http://thinktechno.com. But after the xoops-2.2.4-to-2.2.4-Fixes.v3 patch my site has become really slow. Maybe this could be becasue of the server being in US and i residing in india. But to be fair all my friends and vistors all complaining about the site being slow. PLEASE TEAM XOOPS PLEASE HEPL ME OUT.

a) Use caching where possible
b) Automatic updating of themes and templates set to yes? This eats some extra database queries
c) There are two trackers used on your site. External scripts can slow site down. Remove this two trackers and try again.

I just checked in case I missed somethng here, but there never has been any official xoops-2.2.4-to-2.2.4-Fixes.v3 patch release by the XOOPS.org dev team. Could you show us where you found this patch, so we know what exactly was changed and fixed?

I didnt understand THE TRACKER THING can u explain it, Plus should i enable the Automatic updating of themes and templates.

You have three items in your site pointing to other servers. If these servers are slow, they might slow down your site as well.

And no, you should NOT activate the automatic updating. Did you try caching a few things like not often updated blocks and modules?

From the thread you posted it says:

I would try reuploading the original 2.2.4 files overtop the v3 fixes you uploaded and see if that fixes your speed issues.

no never leave automatic update on, it is only for testing purposes...

ie editing a theme.
