Need someone that knows alot about xoops

I wrealy need some help about my site I have 2 modules that I wreally want to make work but no matter what I try they just dont work...I dont know why couse I have seen thouse modules work on other sites....So please someone help me....

I use 2.0.13.2 version and I have problems with Friendfinder, and buddyfriends module...I have got the modules from someusers in here that have used the modules so modules work but not on my site....maybe some problems with SQL or something I dont know....I would really like to get thouse modules working it is just what I need on my site...so please someone help me before I go crazy over this...
Friendfinder does not save profiles... and buddyfriends shows no messege in popup window...

maybe I'm missing it, but I only see php5 notices about references. That shouldn't kill the page at all.

Hi celobih

I am not someone who knows a lot about XOOPS but this site does - so I have a couple of suggestions:

1. You have done php debug and it doesn;t show anything - what about running the other debug options and see what that does. There is a link to tutorials on these in the 'get help docs here' thread below. look for Johns tutorials link.

2. do a search on the module names and see if others have had the same problem as you - the questions may already have an answer.

2. Still stuck? Then make posts about the individual modules in the module trouble shooting section of this forum rather than in QA. That way you are posting in the right area.
Be sure you post a question after you have run the debugs so if something comes up you can give the results. Also include the versions (read b4u post thread) so that those in the know with modules have as much information as they might need to assist you.

Any clues in log files ...?

AMP versions ...?

You could try to disable (if it runs) protector and/or apache mod_sec just for testing ...
..
