I've just set up a small, community-based site for roleplayers using XOOPS (see www.gamecircle.org). I've been pretty happy with the experience so far. However, some of the users have asked for a module to list all the members on the site.

Something like the find-user function in the administration panel, but available to end users. Although, it wouldn't need to allow for search by fields... it would just need to list all the members and some pre-selected information (eg, their Interests, or any custom fields I might add). Perhaps a sort feature.

Thinking about it, it seems like a pretty straightforward request... but I haven't found an existing module.

Any help folks?

There where modules like that for XOOPS 2.0 but from memory they don't work with XOOPS 2.2

Module was called "Membership"

Unfortunately, my search produced no matches for XOOPSMEMBERS Module Repository. Am I searching in the wrong place? Or better yet, would you provide a link?

Thanks,

Cuidiu

Thanks, gestroud! Pardon the newbie question but why isn't this found in the Module Repository? Does it take a while before it is listed in there?

Some modules are made by developers who prefer to have people visit their sites to download them. Some are only available on XOOPS' module development site:http://dev.xoops.org/ . Some are one-time deals that get posted in the forums. Others have simply disappeared with the developers' sites.

Another good idea is to keep track of the Modules topic in XOOPS news

https://xoops.org/modules/news/index.php?storytopic=2

Signing off; I got my XOOPS "fix" for the day in.

I think "xoopsmembers" was packed with the older version, 2.0.X.
And you can search members , by email by name, by any fields..
Very good module indeed.

But've no idea if its work on the lates version.
