Hello,

I´ve been trying this gorgeus module, but still don´t know how to get the same extensible menus as in http://www.arma-sa.com

How can I do the same for my site?

Thank you

I LOVE XOOPS

There are some instructions included in the module's doc folder, though I gotta say they could be a wee bit more detailed.

Hi,

i just want to have a menu like http://www.arma-sa.com

Something like that. Is for a site of mine called http://www.consultorialegal.es

I want to have a menu that´s expands when you roll over with the mouse.

Do you think this is possible with multimenu 1.8

(I´m using the 16 menus version)

Thank you

arma-sa is using multiMenu 1.8, so, of course it is possible to reproduce one of these menus on your website

did you installed multiMenu ?
is it a fresh install ? or an update ?
did you defined a block with links ?
did you define block's options (format, width...) ?
which part of this steps doesn't work for you ?

look at this post too

if you only have a problem to display a dynamic menu, a link with your test menu will be appreciated too.

i'll have more time tomorrow.

Hello again and thank you for your time.

I can´t find the way of having a multimenu like

http://www.arma-sa.com

My site is http://www.consultorialegal.es

I have just upgrade to multimenu 1.8, previosly i had multimenu 1.74.

The site is in spanish so you might not understand too much.

The block menus of my site are the following:

FORO LEGAL (newbb)
Consultas gratis
Foro Juristas

ARTÍCULOS JURÍDICOS (smartsection)
Artículos jurídicos
Leer artículos

DICCIONARIO LEGAL (wordbook)
DICCIONARIO
Enviar definición
Pedir definición
Buscar definición

ACTUALIDAD (news)
Últimas noticias
Enviar noticia
Historial de noticias

ENLACES (weblinks)
Enviar enlace
Más visitados
Más valorados
Abogados
Peritos
Jurisprudencia
Colegios profesionales
Organismos
Procuradores
Notarías
Registros

But i would rather have a block menu where only the title could be seen and then when you roll over with the mouse the menu would expand with all the module options, exactly as in arma-sa.com

I´m not sure the type of the format i should use to get that menu.

I have created the options of each block menu as permanent links

I´m not sure if i´m explaing myself properly??

but i´m dying for using this great module on my sites.

Thank you and Good luck!

hi,
you must configure your block menu (block options) with 'dynamic vertical' for example.

then, you must define a standard link, and for his submenu, you must define sublinks (permanent or related).

try to display a dynamic menu, and send us a link.

look at your templates too. sometimes they are not updated, then the menu is not displayed correctly.

else you can give me an admin access, i'll look at your multimenu and templates configuration.

You are right, there might be something wrong with the templates

Mainly because i can´t see the same block options you´re speaking about.

My options are in spanish, although the module didn´t have a spanish languaje pack installed (I can´t understand this too well)

I think i will install the 8 menus version to see how it works...

Thanks a lot

8 menus version and 16 menus version are similar (except the number of menus

for spanish language, you can copy the 'english' folder to : /language/spanish

then translate all terms into spanish
