Can I make my own pages within the xoops site

is it possible to make a blank page within the XOOPS site for my own content. what i would like to do is have this page as a page directly within my XOOPS site so that i can still use the blocks and groups privelages on this page and also my theme carrys through to my own pages

I am using XOOPS 2.0.13.2

It should be possible if you use a module such as WF-Channel or SmartSection.

You will be able to connect your html page to the page you create in these modules as content.

This isn`t quite what i need to do. What i am after is to have what is basically a second "top page" so it starts as a blank page that i can add what content i need to. is this at all possible

Yes, you can create your own content with either of the two modules, and with wf-channel you can select one of these as a index page.

You can then select this as the first page people see when you log in if you wish.

this is still not quite what i want to do. i need a blank page with just my theme header and the standard blocks on it so the center is free fo custom blocks

Well What I understand from the above post is that U wanna keep just the left and right columns on the index page and some custom stuff in the center.

Well if thats what u want then just follow these steps

1.Goto ur admin Panel >> Preferences >> module for ur start page >> Coose None

2.in admin panel goto Blocks >> List all blocks
U'll get all the neede options to view/hide blocks just remove the blocks u dont want on the index page or change their position.

Hope this is wat u needed.

what i need is to be able to do this on a second page linked of the index page so i have the index page then anoth page the same as index page but with different center blocks

I did it using MyPage. Work great just for that same type/purpose.
