gladly, i am at a loss of what to do except go to IPB which i know works and have my forums seperate from the themed website, which i was hoping to avoid

php version 4.3.2
mysql version 3.23.58
xoops version 2.0.13.2

newbb versions a TON of different ones

i do have access to use a dif webhosting server with 4.X mysql

mysql 4.1.14 and php 4.4.0

also currently on my existing server the few settings that might make a difference are

register_globals = on
magic_quotes_gpc = on
magic_quotes_runtime=off

any help is GREATLY appreciated,

i just cant figure out why this works on so many websites and will work ok with mine then stop working you refresh the page 4-5 times and it will display the forum post

im grasping at straws here though, any help is appreciated

if anyone wants to look at the site, and see what we're talking about let me know

I am also having an issue with this. I am on XOOPS 2.2.4, newBB 2.2 and when I am logged in I get that problem, but when I am not logged in, I can see the threads, the posts, etc. It is only when I am logged in that I have that problem.

wow so great to actually see someone else have this problem meaning it isnt just me, hopefully someone "in the know" can help us figure this out, i originally tried v2.2.3 upgraded to 2.2.4, and used cbb v2.32 and had weird issues with the forums conflicting with the enhanced profile system, giving me errors, i did a complete wipe, reinstall and got same thing so i figured i'd goto 2.0.13.2 since that isnt as bleeding edge as v2.2.4

well im doing a new server install to test my theory something with my php/mysql/apache versions is the problem.. ill be using php 4.x, MySQL 4.x, and apache 2.2, all i want is for the forums to work, i just find it interesting as widely used as this is, only 2 ppl have experienced this issue, and MySQL v3 i have was used extensively for a very long time, ah well i should know tonight if this fixed it, will update as needed since it appears no one know how to fix it, which is understandable when it wont give any debug information

thank you
