I recently moved servers for one of my XOOPS sites (the SQL information didn't change, the domain name didn't change, just a standard server move), and I got the following errors...

Quote:

Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

did you set the permissions on the proper directories?

cache - 777
uploads - 777
template_c - 777

Delete everything out of your template_c but the index.html file

database prefix didnt change at all? I know when I moved servers it went from server1_databasename to server2_databasename

might want to upload all the files again OR OR OR OR
Get the same version of XOOPS and Modules you were running before the move. Then install all that that, finally run your SQL back up file so it will import all your info and settings.

Nope, my database prefixes didn't change. I did try to reupload everything and that didn't work.

I think I might try your second fix. Thanks!

I just moved servers and got the white page. Double check your folder and file permissions - I found several folders and files with the wrong permissions, after setting the permissions correctly it was all good.

mainfile.php should be 444 but I don't think that is your problem.

What I did was setup a new installation of XOOPS in a temporary sub domain, then compare all the folder/file permissions. Most of the files had the wrong permissions.
