I searched for this topic and was not able to find anything pertaining to my problem.

I have tried all 5 of the different weather moduels and they are all coming up with the same problem

They are not showing up

I see the header for the different moduel and there is no images nor text showing up. It lis like it is blank what information do you need so that you can help troubleshoot this odd problem.

You can create custom block to show the weather. and the content type you set to "Auto Fomat (smilies enabled)".

I am beginning to think that this has something to do with the smart templates Because I an getting the same result each time. So is there a way to turn off the smart template feature?

Works for me. I created a custom block, pasted the code, set to html and viola! Weather. I am using XOOPS 2.2.3 php 4.4.1. I also have a static ip.

Just off hand you might want to verify with your host if they allow rss feeds. Pulling info from accu weather shouldn't be any different than rss. Not all host allow rss especially if your on a shared server (eats up bandwith). You may have to go with a static IP or upgrade your hosting plan. I would contact your provider and ask them.

If you follow the link on the top... that will get you to all the options.

I have it set up for San Martin (my local town) so you'd have to set up an account for your local town. Then if someone wants weather outside of that town it will open up a window when you put the zip or city in.

Since it is done entirely in flash... I don't think there is a way to pull it up from a drop down menu. Unless you ran some if statements and created your own form. Which called up a different weather profile for every drop down menu you specify. it's a thought... if you really would want something like that.
