I want to know how to merge the usermenu and mainmenu to one block .. So that the user can select controls from one block.

Another question is that can i make any option( or suboption) in mainmenu ,so that it is available to registered user's only.I had seen it in many sites like xoops-tips.com , that the "submitnews" suboption is available only when the user logs in ..

Please help me ...
Thanks in advance ...

Select best suites answer:
1. Nobody know how to to it
2. Nobody seen your topic
3. Everybody hate you
4. All are to lazy to answer obvious question
5. Nobody must answer, and just ingore you...

why? Probably because nobody had the answer while your question was visible in the first page of the forum.

Best suggestion for your first question, would be to clone the default template and then join the templates for the user menu and main menu into one. I tried it and it works, but you'll have to do some fiddling with CSS to get it to look right.

No easy ways to do it, because you aren't in any way PHР-coder and know nothing about XOOOPS

Sorry, nothing personal, but I can't trust such solution, because it must not work (i.e isn't 100% bullet-proof, thus - not functional).
I can show my logic, if you want...

*shrugs*
It doesn't worry me, I was just offering a suggestion. It's up to him if he wants to try it or not.

I know I should be ignoring you like the rest , but would the module multimenu work?

lol! way to treat the new people!

Bassmans idea is the one that will work...no matter what LB says....

You WILL of course need to add some more code etc in there...but EVERYTHING can be controlled based on a users status (logged in or not logged in)

one look at the code and you can see that for your self...

<{if $xoops_isuser}> is the key to what you need done.

Don't mind LB he doesn't 'play well with others' on occasion (my personal guess is that it is the language barrier)

Happy Xoopsing, and my apologies for the non-hospitality of the others!
