If any developer ever wants to take up this project, they might want to take a look at this Recipe Markup Language Specification, an XML schema.

Taking a quick look at it and it has just about everyinthg a recipe database structure would need per recipe.

Has any more development work been done on this? It seems to have died off in the end.

just to say that I'm not interested in a recipe module, but a french Xoopser made a module for this task: demo here and download here.

Yes, this is an EXCELLENT module, but beware! If you have it installed on your site, DO NOT upgrade to XOOPS' new News module. It will cause Recette to become a white page on your site. They cannot co-exist at present.
