i saw many posts on this topic, but never found a resolution. please help!

Also, if you try to "send user password" it takes them to a page "sorry no corresponding user found".

Currently using either version 2.1.0 or 2.1.1 (which shows version 2.0.8 in system module page for some reason--> separate thread created for this topic)

Do you have this problem with ALL the users of just with certain users ?

yes this occurs with all the users i tried to register (on different machines and networks). Still havent been able to get it to work, users do show up in the database they just can't login.

One more answer - it was error in 2.1.1, update to nightlies

Anyone else have any thoughts? The version is now 2.1.0 and registered users still can't login

2.1 is an alpha/beta version and therefore will have errors and bugs.. the code changes daily and 1 day it might work, the next it will not.

it does state this in the news article!

if you want a stable version then download the latest version that's stable.. 2.0.10.
