Incorrect Login!

i'm newbie here...need some help

i'm using XOOPS 2.1.0

everytime new member registered and sucessfully but they always cant log in. " Incorrect Login! "

but in the user database, they are has been register and they account status are actived.

what's the problem?! :(

that's a known issue if you are using 2.1.1..

as you say you are new, it would probably be a good idea for you to download and play with the latest 'stable' version 2.0.10 instead of 2.1.1 (which clearly states that it's not for production sites and is not finished yet)

i'm not saying you shouldn't use 2.1.1 but it would be better for you to use a stable version rather than an alpha version so you can familiarise yourself with some of it's features and get to know how it works 1st.

i had change version 2.1.0 to version 2.1.1, but new member still cannot login in. "Incorrect Login", it says.

whats wrong?!?!?

Hi, I came to find an answer to the same question/problem.

It seems the password of new users isn't written in the database or not linked or something like that..

Check 'system' --> 'edit user' and see there is no password.

I think I'll try a stable version :p

Your problem may be System modules. Are you transfered new XOOPS version from to your system blocks (or systemm modules)?

i have checked in the MySQL database user, there is no problem. they're registered with they pass.

When you edit the user in the admin. you won't be able to see the password. It will just be blank. You can change the password though.

I really think you should start with the stable version.
