I am pretty sure you guys read about this Go*gle autolink which is implemented in the go*gle toolbar.

Go*gle autolink is useful for the web surfers but very bad for us the web publishers. Why? It autolinks your site to your competitors websites. There, you loose some sales and activity in your site.

Is there anyway in XOOPS that can prevent this autolink to crawl the site?

I am not too sure about this either, it still remain a foggy loud. I just read it in the newspaper and as a web publisher, I am kinda worried.

I've not used this Herve - but from what I understand .. the Google add-on bar looks for other sites on a similar subject to the one you are viewing.

This is great for end users, but means that casual viewers are tempted to leave your site and visit another.

Is there a way to disable this from working on a currently viewed site.
