May I interpret the lack of attention to this thread as a dying processes of both modules?

But, what about the crowd around that uses It?

Well, i?m feeling so alone on this thread

I?d like to ask that even you guys that have no solution for these bugs, express your feelings about those mods.

Do u think that they don?t deserve the fixes?
They are dead in a near future (2.1 for instance)?

Or what???

You're absolutely not alone. I think over a year ago I already mentioned this bug. Some others encouterred this bug also. But then also nothing happened. If I remember well Mith did a test at xoops.org and didn't stumble into this bug.
That was the last word of it and the topic case rested.

If I was a programmer and therefore able to offer a solution I surely would, but I am not.
So I and a lot of others depends on the efforts of those who can solve it.
As a matter of fact it is quit disturbing to see that an important feature like this still doesn't function well.

it doesn't function because we haven't been able to duplicate the problem.
I just thought of something though - what is the value of the php setting "arg_separator.output" on the installation that has this problem?

what brash mentioned previously works, you're just editing the wrong files.. where mylinks is concerned anyway..

in mylinks:

open up and edit viewcat.php

find on line 142:


rawurlencode(sprintf(_MD_INTLINKFOUND,$xoopsConfig['sitename']).':  '.XOOPS_URL.'/modules/mylinks/singlelink.php?cid='.$cid.'& amp;lid='.$lid


change to:

rawurlencode(sprintf(_MD_INTLINKFOUND,$xoopsConfig['sitename']).':  '.XOOPS_URL.'/modules/mylinks/singlelink.php?cid='.$cid.'&lid='.$lid


open up index.php

find on line 110:

rawurlencode(sprintf(_MD_INTLINKFOUND,$xoopsConfig['sitename']).':  '.XOOPS_URL.'/modules/mylinks/singlelink.php?cid='.$cid.'& amp;lid='.$lid


change to:

rawurlencode(sprintf(_MD_INTLINKFOUND,$xoopsConfig['sitename']).':  '.XOOPS_URL.'/modules/mylinks/singlelink.php?cid='.$cid.'&lid='.$lid


note: i had to put a space inbetween & amp due to newbb parsing it into just an & symbol in the above code. but u can see it before the last $lid

then clear your cache and templates_c folders..

i haven't checked with mydownloads, but i'm presuming the same method will be used there altho probably in a couple more files aswell.. just search for those parts..
