Thank you for this great module!!

I have a few questions:

1) Would it be a lot of trouble to add a musicstyle & email field?

2) Maybe you can make the List field bigger instead of 1 line and is there a limit to the number of letters in this field?

3) Would it be possible to show the image instead of the textlink on the main page if there is one specified?

4) a small typo in the Preferences area: It says Maximum image width twice instead of a width & Height

But once again: wonderfull work mate!!!

Hi guys,

I have developed a xoops2 Module at

http://webmusic.homerecording.de/ (only german, sorry...)

That looks like an extremely useful module. Is it available for others? (Sorry if this question has already been answered, I haven't read all of the posts in this thread yet; it's 14 pages long, but fascinating.)

Just an update...

I have Profiles v0.9 ready to go and am now working on XOOPS JukeBox.

(side note: alot of people might think the Profiles module is just for extending User Profiles. It is not. It is a seperate application and is not meant to replace the User Profiles. It simply allows your site to profile anything with a picture and text block, etc.)

The JukeBox module will allow your site to have a playlist and admins/users can upload MP3 files. It will include an MP3 player so any XOOPS site can have a JukeBox with this.

I will then merge Profiles and JukeBox into Artists Profiles.

This will add MP3 track management and mp3 player to the Profiles module after these two are merged into yet a 3rd module.

SO when all is done, we will have:

Profiles Module
JukeBox Module
Artist Profile Module

Hope that clears up whats happening here. Its going fairly well.

Now if only could find some more sponsors, then maybe I could focus on this work. But otherwise, I will be working on it as time permits.

So far, ScriptFu has been very generous.

Thats the update so far...

Have a great day!

Hi

Maybe I am too stupid but i wasn´t able to understand the profiles module. Perhaps the reason is that there is not enough content. fvxccc is NOT a sensible name for a profile ;)

The source forhttp://webmusic.homerecording.de module is available. But i want to know to WHOM i give it. Please contact me at michael@homerecording.de for details. I´m not here very often.

The songvoting module athttp://homerecording.de/modules/songvoting is a nice peace of software written for our site, but the source code style is... okay I´m glad we have that module. Better don´t look inside ;)

i´m looking forward to seeing a jukebox demo!

greetings
