I tested the xserver tool and it was running smoothly. No problems discovered. I hope I will be able to test the intended demo as well this weekend, if a release will be deemed ready for testing.

Development of demonstration tools and installation tools will be a great opportunity to promote XOOPS better in the future.

Has any material for the conference been made available yet for review?

Strange.... is just a small launcher to run some programs like apache in 'background', without windows, invisible, hidden... (but was cripted with fsg 2.0, a program used by virus lovers and script kiddies, so I understand the problem - sorry).

So the next version comes with 2 basic antivirus, AVG and AVAST:

yes, this file, specifically, is just a demo of a autonomy, that download what is needed to run.

Damaster, can you include me and wtravel (martijn) in your communications with Mikhail, as we need to finish this thing in the coming week (!!!!!).

Mikhail, I got the server working now. We need to figure out how to make this work from a CD (like the linux demo CD's, use the B drive for mysql, apache etc.) I would like it to run from the start (no installation necessary).

And we need the sample content ASAP!! The interface images you posted a few posts ago (the winXP media center edition skinned ones) I like for this!

Lets put as much as possible here, so we can have some people to help!

I got melponeme working. It's perfect for this! Now: I need someone to translate the melponeme interface to English, the link should be changed to http://www.xoops.org, and preferably the melponeme name changed as well. Mikhail, your credits will go to you, of course, so don't worrky about that.

Also, can someone please please please mmake a draft text for a XOOPS brochure or factsheet we can use and hand out??

ALso, the melponeme site sample content needs to be translated to english as well, but we need that ASAP as well!

Lots to do people, but Mikhail gave us a great tool to start with!
