AMS Problem

I just insalled the released AMS module and i came across a problem.

I after i create a topic in the topics manager, they do not appear in the dropdown when i attempt to submit an article.

am i forgetting to do something?

I've just tried this and mine is OK, so not sure why you are having a problem. If you are trying to add a graphic to the topic ensure that the modules/AMS/images/topics folder is write enabled (chmod 777). If it isn't, then this might be why it isn't working. Other than that, I can't help. Try posting at the developers site at www.it-hq.org - they have a forum specifically for AMS support - I've used it a few times and they're very helpful, and quick.

Set permissions

edit: By that, I naturally mean that you should set the module's topic permissions in AMS Module administration.

Read the treads on this page and the one before it.

I am pretty sure you have to set the submit permision. The trick is though for eache section you must click the submit button uou can't set permisions on the whole page then click submit at the bottom.
