Well I finally got it to work. I had to clone the XOOPS default template and redit some of the changes I had made previously to some templates. Not sure why it wasn't working but now it does.

I never changed it I just uploaded the files using FTP to the server. I am not sure where it is getting changed. The site ishttp://NEGeocaching.com if it helps to see the page.

Auto Login Problem

I give can't seem to find whats wrong. I installed the Auto Login Hack and can't get the remember me box to show up. I updated the system module and all that. If you view the source of the page something is commenting out the check box.

Don't know if you ever found an answer but here you go. Change the color in this section of newbb.css. The file is located in /modules/newbb/newbb.css

Thanks for the responses I am leaning towards something wrong with her system which seems to be the direction you guys are leaning also. I asked her to create a second account and see if she can post with the new account. If other users where having problems then I would be more concerned about the database.

If it is a referer problem are there any setting to help with that?

I am using BB version 2 it's been running for a while without any issues I also have the avatar upload patch installed.

Not sure I'll have to ask her. Doesn't make sense to me that a firewall would cause the error because it's only http traffic.

I have one user who all of a sudden can't post in the forums on my site. She has posted twice and now she can't every time she posts she gets the following error.

I checked the tables in my database and they all come back OK so was looking around at the database and noticed that both of her other posts her IP was logged as -1 she is the only one that has an IP like that could that have something to do with it. That was the only thing that caught my eye.

Not sure if this is really a bug or not. I have the latest security patch applied for avatar upload.

mimetypes.inc.php
uploader.php

When a user uploads an image and the file extension is all caps they get the following error.

Unknown filetype rejected
MIME type not allowed: image/pjpeg


If you rename the image then it uploads without a problem.

xcgallery thumbnails

I installed xcgal and had GD1.x configured which was wrong so my thumbnails are messed up. When I FTP into we account and try and delete them I get a permission denied error. I was hoping to delete the messed up thumbs so that they would be regenerated. This somewhat sorries me that I can't delete them from my main web site account I have to do it through XOOPs.

So I guess I have two questions. Do I have the permissions set right on the albums? How do get xcgal to regenerate the thumbnails.
