I have read the threads for the Zaja blue and overlap blocks.
I can't quite figure out how to use that info to help myself!

The problem on the site I'm putting together for my children's school is that it has overlapping blocks for the LC and RC. I have content on the site, including a center center block. It displays great in Netscape. But the overlap happens in IE6 and Mozilla.
you may check it out at http://www.ourladyoffatimaschool.com.

I use 7dana_soft on another site for work. I use Zaja_Green for my organic farm web site. I like your themes Goran! Great work!

I'd appreciate any help...

Thanks.

Hi,

I just looked at your site, and the LC and RC columns are not overlapping in my IE 6.0 browser. They are against each other, but there is no overlap. Although, when the site was first loading, they were overlapping (but then corrected itself).

I've had your problem in earlier versions of IE (5.0 and 5.5), but it seems ok in 6.0. As for why this is happening in any version of IE, I've heard that it is some kind of CSS problem with IE.

There is some kind of fix, but I'm not sure where this fix is documented in full. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that your site looks fine in my IE 6.0 browser.

Wish I could offer more help, but I'm still a beginner at this.

Dave

Thanks Dave & Goran.

Well I guess the overlap occurs as a result of the display resolution. The people who are using this site have their resolutions set to 800x600 px. They are the ones who first reported this issue. Why do some people still insist on using 800x600? That is a question that will never have a satisfactory answer.

If any one has resolved this issue for the lower res or knows about the CSS fix for IE please share.

Thanks again! You guys are #1.

I'm off, back to work...

Don't know if it will work, but try changing the values in the file style.css (and the other 2 css files for other browsers). Where it says :

table#okvir
{
background-color: #FFFFFF;
width: 765px;
border: 0px solid #ffffff;
}

Change the width value to 95%

width: 95%;

Thanks for the suggestions, Ted Smith. I tried it. It did not improve the overlap in the RC and LC blocks.

What I did to bypass this issue is only use CC blocks for the benefit of the viewers with their monitor relolutions set to 800x600.

That is something my design teacher told me and that is to design with the lowest common denominator in mind.

Thanks for all your input everyone!

Good luck.

BTW I love your site and love your site's cause even more.
