I have bought two hosting services, one inside China, as xoops.org.cn, the other is with surpass.
Both are reseller accounts (actually I have two reseller accoutns with surpass), I am much more happy with surpass than with xoops.org.cn's host, not only the speed but much more based on the services and quality.

BTW: I have not earned one cent from all my reseller accounts yet. Currently they are free for non-commerical XOOPS users in China. If any guy introduces me a commercial opportunity, I would be much more than happy

Finally there's a reply with apology for the delay from the staff of the suspension section. Now my site is unsuspended and moves to another server. From his explaination I hope such long waiting is just a special case caused by some error.

Though I still don't know why my site overloaded the server. The staff has told me he will watch my site and show me what uses CPU. Good to hear this becuase in users end it's hard to guess which part causes the issue. If there's a chance to know where the problem is, I'm very willing to prevent it in advance.

Now the best thing is that I can finally give a positive answer to all the friends who concerned about my website these days.

For going all that time suspended I sure hope they compensated you well. Post back and tell us what their compesation was, if any.

Thank you Kainaij,

They gave me a free month just as Kayla said, and the server now I'm on is a newer one.

I understand that XOOPS site might use a bit more CPU than many other type of sites and bandwidth is not the only factor that matters. But the strict suspension level is indeed over my hosting experience. So I'm glad to see if they have some XOOPS friendly server with optimized setting. And I'll do my part to keep my site a better performance.

I'd like to hear what the extra CPU usage is, and if they know what is causing that, as well as how they deal with it Then we can look into solutions from our end as well.

After many problems with several different hosts, surpass has been our savior. We are running a fast growing XOOPS site with a lot of music downloads with NO problems.

We have been with surpass for about 3 months. I give them 2 thumbs up for their support and reliability.

My current provider, Globalhosting.com has not performed up to my expectations as of late. I'm going to inquire into how surpass can help me migrate my site to their servers.

Here goes something.

My site was suspended from Globalhosting.com this morning. Their reason? Can you believe this?

The fault was with my hosting company Globalhosting.com. Basically their message said "You account has been suspended because you've made payment". My site was actually down for 3-4 hours before I noticed this.

I did call them, their tech was unapologetic, etc...

I will be moving to surpass. There is no doubt in my mind.
