I'm looking to do a streaming webcam to my site and was wondering if this module was still functional.

It can be found here:

Any replies would be helpful. Thanks.

I'll be looking into re-doing my theme soon, but until then I'd like to simply add this one bit of code to show up in a bottom center center column block:

<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpages%2FKainai-Studies-Program%2F113818105345309&amp;width=237&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;show_faces=true&amp;border_color&amp;stream=false&amp;header=false&amp;height=62" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:237px; height:62px;" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>

I was hoping it would be just a simple matter of pasting some code into the "Add Block" submission, setting it to HTML and clicking "ok".

No dice. I get an error message of "Errors - name is required". I know inserting an iFrame is frowned upon, but this is just a temporary solution.

Please help.

I have a block here:

http://kainaistudies.com/index.php

that gets a feed from a remote site into the block entitled "Partner News".

Hopefully a simple question. How do I set the module to allow for me to go straight to the web feed link and not to the x-aggregator module?

I've come this far and need just this one last tweak to make it right as rain.

Thanks for any help on this.

Hi Barryc,

Thanks for the reply first of all.

I did try your fix to a "t", but I cannot get a 2nd page to render with the First Name and Last Name required fields.

I am using version 1.55 of the Profile module and currently using Xoops 2.4.1.

The following message is one I get at my homepage (http://kainaistudies.com btw):

Notice: Deprecated function 'mod_getUnameFromIds', use XoopsUserUtility directly. in file /Frameworks/art/functions.user.php line 26

Thanks for any input.

Hi,

I have also been inundated with a ton of registrations. I've tried a couple of the captcha registration fixes to no avail as I juuust received 2 registrations while writing this. It almost seems as I've stirred the hornets nest by trying these. The last captcha I installed (frankblacks) gave me a 1 hour respite and then after that bang again with the bot registrations.

Can you give instructions as to how I can enable the two step registration process?

Thank you.

It's a Canadian poem our schoolchildren recite on November 11th at 11am in remembrance of our veterans and their sacrifices in current and past wars.

Thanks for the site input. :)

I too am looking for a webcam solution. I am in the middle of a project that is asking for a remote, wireless webcam to stream a video feed to a module on my site.

The webcam will be remotely monitoring wildlife "in-the-field" and would like to know if there is a solution available that would accept a feed by a network/web cam.

Thanks.
