That is the correct field to change but there is more you have to do. I changed mine to 1024 and it works. You have to edit a database field as described in this post:

"Who's Online" Very Inaccurate

I noticed today when I logged on to my very new site that it reported "17 users online", which is odd because I have maybe five registered users. I looked at the detail and the IP addresses were all nearly the same. It was apparently counting one user as being online in every page he visited.

Is there a fix for this?

Misspelled Button

I was wondering if the misspelled button in the User Profile area is from XOOPS or the theme? The "Deactivate" button is spelled "Dectivate".

Where is the code so that I can fix this?

I've tried everything I can to make this work but I've decided it may be a XOOPS bug. My email worked under XP but after transferring to Windows 7, it stopped. I'm using SMPT with Authentication and PHPMailer and I've tried both Gmail and VFemail and neither works.

Unless someone can explain what might be wrong with my setup, I think this is a bug.

Email not working

I transferred my XOOPS site to a different server. Both servers are local. The older one was running XP Professional and the new one is running Windows 7.

I'm using SMTP for email with authentication and Google mail. I have the XOOPS PHPMailer installed. Email worked fine on the XP system but it doesn't on Windows 7. I get the error:

Perhaps someone could suggest something I missed in the transfer. The server setup was entirely fresh.

I'm a little puzzled why there is no user profile feature in XOOPS and not even a module that I can find. The only one I see in the modules section is a dead link.

Well, I guess there is a small profile after all. For some reason I couldn't see one earlier while not logged in as admin. Maybe there's a permissions setting I need to change.

I would still like a more fully fleshed-out profile module.

What does this option do? I mean, it sounds a bit odd to force a reply to a post you've never read.

Thanks for the tip. That one actually looks quite nice integrated

Can you post videos from YouTube and other streaming vid sites directly into the body or do you need an editor module with that capability? {Edit} I see now that this is in the forum editor! Very cool.

I also need a good poll module if you want to recommend.
