I'm a little puzzled why there is no user profile feature in XOOPS and not even a module that I can find. The only one I see in the modules section is a dead link.

Well, I guess there is a small profile after all. For some reason I couldn't see one earlier while not logged in as admin. Maybe there's a permissions setting I need to change.

I would still like a more fully fleshed-out profile module.

Have you noticed the preinstalled User Profile module? I think it has everything you need.
