My site crashed ?

I am using XOOPS 2.0.13. Everything was running fine until yesterday. However, when I try to login tonight, I have the following error message :

Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 34

Anyone know what happen ? Did my site got hacked ?
Should I call my ISP ?

How to move the module database ?

Hi all :

I am moving my site to a new server. I don't want to move everything over .. Let's say if I only want to move the XoopsPoll Module, how would I do that in the phpMyAdmin ? Can I export something to a file and then import that back into the new server ?

Does phpmail support multi-byte language (chinese) ?

I installed the latest XOOPS 2.0.9.2, and activated the default "Contact" module.

How can I modify the phpmail program to support Chinese Character ?

Registration problem

My website visitor cannot complete the registration process for a new account. The XOOPS system reports the following :

You are now registered. However, we were unable to send the activation mail to your email account due to an internal error that had occurred on our server. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please send the webmaster an email notifying him/her of the situation.

The registration process works fine before. Does anyone know what could be the problem ?

I went to the following page :https://xoops.org/general/download.php, trying to download the patch 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 patch. When I tried to click the link for the zip or tar.gz, it went to a page that has nothing to download.

Random Pictures in Xoopsgallery 1.3.3

In Xoopsgallery, we can set individual access for each album. However, if I enable the random picture, it won't recognize the access right before displaying the picture. I think this is a bug ?

Also, if someone is working on a fix, then I would recommend adding group access option for each album or pictures. In the current 1.3.3 release, we have to individually set the access right.

Xoopsgallery bug - blank page after login

I am using Xoopsgallery 1.3.3

If I go directly to the photo album and browe the picture, then I decide to login, the screen will turn to blank page
instead of going back to the original photo album page.

The link of that blank page is :
http://mysite.com/modules/xoopsgallery/view_album.php

I think the link should be
http://mysite.com/modules/xoopsgallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album03

For some reason, the URL redirect miss the "set_albumName=album03"

Anyone know how to fix this problem ?

How do I backup and restore mySQL database

Hi, I need to upgrade the IPB module. Before I do that, I like to backup my database. If the upgrade fail, then I can restore my original database. Can anymore tell/show me how to create a backup database and later on restore it ?
