What version of XOOPS and NewBB(I guess) are you using?
Maybe there's also a possibility to assign Group-rights in the Forum-Module(guess starting at 2.2.2)
Generally, it maybe a good idea to create a group with several rights everybody have and add there everybody. Then create a group with special privileges and add there only people that have these rights.
In other words.
Person A and B are all in Group 1 with rights a,b,c
Person B is in Group 2 with right d,e,f
Result:
A: a,b,c
B: a,b,c,d,e,f
There's a LOGICAL OR operation being performed.

Hello everbody,
got a strange problem with Shoutbox 3.1 and XOOPS 2.0.13.1.
When I enable, that Smilies to choose are being displayed in Shoutbox-block(NOT Popup), these Smilies are shown correctly but all other Smilies on my page are shown only as Code like :whatever:.... Except in the Shoutbox-IFrame. There are the Smilies being displayed.
When I disable it in Module-Administration, that Smilies are being displayed in Shoutbox-block, all Smilies on my Page and in the written text in Shoutbox appear correctly.
Anyone got an idea how to solve this problem?

ich habe ein seltsames Problem festgestellt bei Shoutbox 3.1 und XOOPS 2.0.13.1.
Wenn ich in dem Shoutbox-Block (NICHT im Popup) die Smilies anzeigen lasse, dann werden in allen anderen Modulen von Xoops(News, Gästebuch, Forum) die Smilies deaktiviert, d.h. es kommt nur noch der Code, z.B. :irgendwas:, aber nicht mehr der Smilie.
Wenn ich im Block die Smilies ausblende, d.h. es werden nicht mehr alle angezeigt zum auswählen, erscheinen aber, wenn in dem eingegebenen Text Smilie-Code verwendet wird, dann klappt es wieder auf allen Seiten.
Verwendet die Shoutbox da irgendeinen Code in der Template, der die Smilie-Anzeige in den anderen Modulen verhindert?

is it possible that she has changed the font size in her IE?
This is only possible if there's no explicit size in css/html-File
Don't know how it is called in english as my OS is german, there it is called Ansicht(maybe view) and Schriftgrad(maybe font size)

FF is looking for styleNN.css. Maybe there's a wrong link to your real style.css.
BTW can't see the images as my internet is limited to several sites only, so I'M just guessing, what's on the images ;)

Well, you just have to edit block modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_user.html. Don't forget to update your system-module after editing as templates are stored in database(System->Modules).

First question:
Use the existing update-packages to update your site. Anyway backup your database first! Errors could always occure
Second question:
Why don't you try MultiMenu. I think this is exactly what you're looking for.

2.2.2 is pre-RC (Release Candidate)
So it's pretty sure that there are several bugs and it's not recommended to use it on a productive site...
