Ah, well look at the location of the 'B'.

I would be willing to bet that it was done by his hosting company!

The location of the changed directory is very high up.

He appears to be an ordinary XOOPS user.

So all of the folder above his site root would be coming from the hosting company.

The change is in the middle of this cluster or folders.

Hi Guys!

Nick_James is correct the cause of the failure is my hosting company, they changed something and all my 3 XOOPS sites have the same error messages. They were able to finally see their fault and told me to change the path on my mainfile.php.

Thank you guys for taking time to help me.

More Power to Xoops!!!

I look into the the errors and check them one-by-one, all the files indicated as "No such file or directory" are present on my server.

I did not touch anything. I only discovered it this morning when I visited it. I immediately report it to my hosting support and this is the reply from them;

"I have checked the URL's athttp://www.bacolodcityjobs.com/ and found that it is a scripting issue. I have also checked the cgi error log from backend and found some errors in the script. Please correct errors in the scripts from your end and check."

I'm confused. I'm running a 2.3.2b version of XOOPS in this site.

Here are the other server info;
Platform Type: Debian
MySQL Version: 5.0.45
Perl 5.8.8
PHP Version: PHP 5.2.2

My site ishttp://www.bacolodcityjobs.com/

When you visit it you can see these messages.

Fatal error: Call to a member function stopTime() on a non-object in /hermes/web01b/b1364/pow.myphilippines/htdocs/bacolodjobs/header.php on line 36

Contacted the support of my hosting service and they said that the problem is with the scripting.

Can anybody here point to me where to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

On installation I got stock on Database connection (5/14). I tried to change the database many time but It always goes to the same screen. I deleted the template_c folder, deleted my browser cookies and cache still it goes back to this page.
http://www.mydomain.com/install/page_dbconnection.php

I tried to install XOOPS version 18.2 and it goes like a breeze without any problem.

I also got the same problem with version 2.3.2b.

Please help me fix this problem.

Thanks

Please help, just installed the latest XOOPS 2.3.1 (released on Oct. 11, 2008). My problem is the BB codes and some HTML commands are being recognized in BLOCKS check the site here Bacolod City Jobs Portal. You can see that the BB codes are being displayed as text not interpreted as a command.

I also upload the latest version of Frameworks for 2.30 final version but did not solve the problem. I need to finish this project before Nov. 10.

Please help. What must I do?

thanks in advance
