Thank you twitaman very much for summarizing the steps.

Everything went just fine.

Just a note to everyone to be sure to set the access permissions for each forum.

Thanks again.

What would you do if those pages were php and you needed to assign XOOPS group permissions to them?

Thanks

Here is the situation:

I have several php forms that needed to be added to a XOOPS site and they need to be accessed only by registered members. Currently I have them added to the site by doing the following:

<?php
include("../mainfile.php");
include("../header.php");
include("form.txt");
include("../footer.php");
?>

The content is stored in form.txt file

This works great(clean and simple) but everyone can access the page and I am not sure how to add access permissions.

What is the best way to add permissions to this page?

1. Use cjay content or free content

2. create a new module and add these pages to it? (if this is the case could some one point me to the quickest and simplest way to get this done or perhaps a quote on what some one would charge to do this)

I am currently installing cjay content 2.5. I used this about a year ago so I will see how it works now.

Thanks in advance!

Was wondering if anyone has any tips for adding google adsense to there site?

I have added the code to my site and all works well in the latest version of Netscape but not IE.

The site: www.lcd-tv-reviews.com

My XOOPS version is 2.0.5

What I have done:

Created a block that is visible on the left side
Assigned block access right to anonymous users
the block is an HTML block
added the following code to my site

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX";
google_ad_width = 120;
google_ad_height = 600;
google_ad_format = "120x600_as";
google_color_border = "DFF2FD";
google_color_bg = "DFF2FD";
google_color_link = "0000CC";
google_color_url = "008000";
google_color_text = "000000";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

All works well in Netscape but not IE
In fact in IE the XOOPS pages will not display completely

any thoughts?

you can check it out LCD TV Reviews

Thanks so much
