You could also try recounting the forum.

I ran all the files in that directory and I just got a blank browser window.

mainfile.php was not a file in the new update so it has not been changed.

Can anyone help me? My website has been down all day after I updated to a "stable, recommended" version. I have not modified the code in anyway. I installed 2.0.3 fresh and have updated to 2.0.4 and now 2.0.5.

This is getting ridiclious.

I just uploaded all the files in the 2.0.4 -> 2.0.5 upgrade and when I try to access my site I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getdatabaseconnection() in /home/hostile/public_html/st/include/common.php[/bon line 75

I opened the new common.php and here is the entire snippet of code with line 75 in bold:

// #################### Connect to DB ##################

require_once XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/class/database/databasefactory.php';
    if (
$HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REQUEST_METHOD'] != 'POST' || !xoops_refcheck(XOOPS_DB_CHKREF)) {

define('XOOPS_DB_PROXY'1);
    }
    [
b]$xoopsDB =& XoopsDatabaseFactory::getDatabaseConnection();

I have not modified any code and the only 3rd party module I have installed is XoopsChat which I doubt is a problem.

It was due to an incorrectly created table. Probably an error with the cpanel installer, but not positive.

Could you please post here again if the same solution works for you? If so, I'd also be interested in knowing the specific hoster and the specific version of the cpanel installer (fantastico?)... Thanks!

Yeah, as you can see that worked for me, the Fantastico installer screwed up the table.

My host is Arteryplanet.net but they do not directly support the Fantastico installer, they are contacting the appropriate developer for a fix.

I have no idea what version of cPanel my host is running, but it should be the latest, stable build.

I did that already, didn't work. Tried it again just to be safe, didn't work.

I removed all the files in templates_c and it still didn't fix it.

I've also given the anonymous group access to the module so you should be able to view it.

I found the following in the admin folder of the module in a file called banusers.php

"._MI_XOOPSCHAT__ADMENU3."

It shows a double underscore after _MI_XOOPSCHAT, just like hsalazar said.

I've modified the constants.php with the double underscore but it still doesn't work. Is there something I need to update after making the change? I tried to update the Module in the Module Administration but it didn't make a difference.

FYI - I'm only modifying the english language constant.php since I have other languages turned off.
