XOOPS Version: 2.0.14
Module Name/Version: CBB 3.04
PHP Version:
MySQL Version: 4.1.20
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache
Operating System: Linux

Theme you are using: must_dark (occurs under all themes)

Custom template: (Yes/No) No

Debug Messages: Warning: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used after 'URL-Rewriter' in file /include/cp_functions.php line 33

A full description of the issue: This message occurs in aboutt 30% of the submitted posts: "Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit if necessary."

One can click on submit on this screen and the post will generally go through. We have just lived with it for a while but I hope we can find a solution.

Hmm my post didn't show up. I just started having one of the problems you quoted Bender.

"you log in, it says thanks for logging in and then you are not logged in?"

What can I do? No one can log in and now the site is down.

Please help!!!

Thanks. I did as you suggested. They appear on the site nicely.

My problem now is with google banner ads. I cut and paste the code into the html box for a banner and it is actuve but no banners appear on the site. My adsense account shows many impressions so it seems to think it is appearing there but they cannot be seen. Does something need to be in the 'Image URL' or 'Link URL' fields? Any ideas?

How well does the X7 chat integrate? How did you install it?

This is a very important topic. I am new to XOOPS and CMS in general so I will give you that perspective. After much research I decided XOOPS is the best for me. My difficulties have come in:

1. Figuring out what modules to install. There are many in general and many for each need.
2. Finding the latest module version. They are all spread out. This is being addressed in other threads.
3. Trying to figure out if a module is being maintained or not.

Having packs would give people (expecially new people) a central place to go for good basic modules that are presumably being maintained. Great idea!

I have 2.0.14 installed. I am having trouble adding a poll in CBB 3.05 how is this done.

I have set permissions so registered users can add polls but see no 'New Poll' option only 'New Topic'.

I just registered and made a custom block. Is there a way to add it via the banner admin menu or do I need to paste the code into the header file of the theme?

I did this and it worked great. Thank goodness being able to translate my forums was make or break for me. Now it is XOOPS all the way.

For those who are doing this I wanted to let you know that the above suggestion worked. Thanks!

Only issue now is that the wrong names are being attributed to wiki posts. I thought perhaps the user id in the db for the wiki and XOOPS needed to match so I changed them accordingly to no avail.

Any ideas?

This is an old thread but the only one on this subject I found. I would like as an admin to be able to change peoples avatars. Is there a way to do this easily (Read not editing db tables) in CBB 3.05?
