Migrating existing Mediawiki 1.67 to MW module 1.67

I have a current Mediawiki installation that I would like to use in my MW module. Both are 1.6.7. How can I migrate my current MW to my new XOOPS MW module?

I have full access to the server. Both are hosted on the same server in fact.

I looked through mediawiki.org and tried a few things but it would seem there is more than meets the eye in doing this.

I would use phpmyadmin to compare the sql tables. If the MW module uses a table structure similar the MediaWiki script tables, it may be as simple as copying and renaming some tables to your XOOPS database.

Definately back up both databases before experimenting!

They do appear to be the same. I will try this. After a backup of course. I will uplaod the existing db to the directory where the XOOPS MW module created a db when I installed it initially. Then delete the ones it made and rename the ones I just put in there.

For those who are doing this I wanted to let you know that the above suggestion worked. Thanks!

Only issue now is that the wrong names are being attributed to wiki posts. I thought perhaps the user id in the db for the wiki and XOOPS needed to match so I changed them accordingly to no avail.

Any ideas?
