I tried editing the theme.html for the only theme I have, but the 'program' that checks for the inclusion of the script reported that it didn't find it.

I'll try putting it in one of the blocks I've set for all pages and see if it find it then.

I'm trying to add a site tracking code to my website so I can get statistical data so I can better the overall site usage and direction. So I need to just add a couple lines of code to do this.

IS there 1 single template file where I can add the code and where do I find it? I've tried looking within my own site's files, but nothing jumps out and says "put the code in me"

I tried using the search but I'm guessing the 2 terms I used to search don't give me the results I'm looking for...it always ends up that way.

Thanks for any and all help!

Here's my tech's response...nice to know I wasn't hacked or anything and they helped to preserve my account.

The issue with bridefan.com was that your index file was named index.htm instead of index.php. I believe this is a result of the fix we implemented for the accounts that were comprimised. I have renamed your index file to index.php and bridefan.com is back up and running.

Okay thanks. I just got an e-mail from my host before I got the notice of this reply that they've been having people report of 'attempted break-ins' on their accounts and they've recently changed every customer's passwords...

Making me think now my account was hacked and something went wrong (even though all my files are still on the server). I may have to log in and get things reactivated before it works right. Already submitted a trouble ticked to them to see.

Thanks for the info, I'll let ya know what I find out.

I haven't edited anything in a couple of days and it was working as of last night/earlier today.

I go in to the main page athttp://www.bridefan.com and I now have this showing:

What happened? I can't even get into the admin page. Keeps telling me I'm not authorized - and I'm the webmaster/owner.

Thanks, I'll give the XoopsContact one a try...seems it's got a nice 'security feature' to help stop the SPAM bots.

Figures most of the modules I like aren't supported any more...

I don't find XoopsContact in the module repository but I did see Liaise, but the latest version is good through XOOPS 2.0.13 and I'm on 2.0.15 and about to upgrade to 2.0.16....soooo....do you know of any incompatibility issues?

I recently had to deactivate this module on my website due some little twit 'hijacking' the module to send out about several thousand SPAM e-mails making it look like I was spamming them.

Is there anything I can do to help secure it more so someone can't 'hijack' my module for evil purposes?

Thanks for any help.
