Problem with ArchContact Us module

I recently had to deactivate this module on my website due some little twit 'hijacking' the module to send out about several thousand SPAM e-mails making it look like I was spamming them.

Is there anything I can do to help secure it more so someone can't 'hijack' my module for evil purposes?

I'm not sure Arch Contact is still being developed. You might want to consider an alternative. You could use something like XoopsContact or Liaise.

Figures most of the modules I like aren't supported any more...

I don't find XoopsContact in the module repository but I did see Liaise, but the latest version is good through XOOPS 2.0.13 and I'm on 2.0.15 and about to upgrade to 2.0.16....soooo....do you know of any incompatibility issues?

I use both Liaise(http://www.brandycoke.com/home/modules/cryptica/showfile.php?file_id=31) and XoopsContact (http://xoops.ibdeeming.com/modules/wfdownloads/visit.php?cid=2&lid=16) on2.0.16 without problem ona couple of different sites.

Thanks, I'll give the XoopsContact one a try...seems it's got a nice 'security feature' to help stop the SPAM bots.
