I hacked the code of the XOOPS 1.3x and did so many core changes it would be so much work to upgrade. I also fixed any security holes and am not using any scripts that have security flaws..

I would love to upgrade to 2.0 but right now it makes more sense to lock down 1.3x and still use it for my purposes. I love XOOPS and its a great community of coders here! I still think its the BEST CMS hands down.

$100 for a module development

I am looking for someone to develop a module for me similar to the xoopstube for 2.0 system. But I need it working in the XOOPS 1.3x version platform.

Anyone know of a module that runs under the 1.3x platform of XOOPS that is like the downloads or links module but archives youtube videos?

I have made sure that the read only is not on any files, I am not logged in as adminstrator.

I get errors like this on every page at the bottom:

also alot of the front page blocks are loading blank.??? any ideas.

they must be having some server bandwidth issues. I wonder where XOOPS hosts its MySQL and main site files?

XAMPP for Windows Version 1.5.1

Does anyone have any experience using or running XAMPP for Windows Version 1.5.1 on a windows operating system and making the permissions for XOOPS to work on a local windows machine?
