Re: New FPS Gaming site

is there a good module that will allow you to play various types of movies within the site as well as offer it for download? I need something that will play most video types.

Right now I am just using the regular download module and that is pretty boring.

You can check it out here:

Re: check my site out

No offence or anything, but the entire site is filled with ads. There doesnt seem to be any content.

The contact us button leads to more ads, even those that are disguised as content.

I think he is refering to the links in the Main Menu block. I might be wrong.

Or do a search for XOOPS themes in Google.

Re: Invision power board, can I replace existing forum and other questions

I had that same problem too. XOOPS defaults to the "threaded view". You need to change it to a "flat view". Instructions on how to do that can be found in this FAQ:

Re: change banner txt on home page ???

Which batter do you speak of? Are you refering to your header? If so you have to edit your theme.html which is at:

/themes/"theme name"/theme.html

LOL, the best is the contact us button. Click it, then click on the "Best sites" button. I dare you.

Re: New FPS Gaming site

Yeah, no doubt. I used 4nAlbum for my PHP-Nuke site and I loved it. Easy to use, can batch update with no problems. I wish they had a module for Xoops. For XOOPS I use the default DL module for files and MyAlbum for pictures. IS there anything better?

Re: New FPS Gaming site

Well thats cool though. I have been trying to strike a balance of files to upload. Full patches and stuff take too much space and too long to upload. Maps and mods are cool, pictures, videos, and the like are required. Still, I havent found a good way to batch load any of these things. I have myAlbum, which does have a batch load feature but it will readd the files already in that folder. The downloads modual has no feature like that. I guess it all takes time.
