It takes awhile to learn what your needs really are, and moreover the best ways to get exactly what you want and expect out of your domain. Sometimes its better to go and play ET or Counterstrike rather than stress over the lack of traffic, or how unhappy you are with your theme.
Changes are occuring in the community and you should soon see more resources geared torwards our market. By which I mean. Those of us less concerned about "clean" themes and miore concerned with entertaining our visitors. XOOPS is a great cms for what you are trying to do man. Keep at it.
