I was thinking of starting a Todo Module but didn't get much response.

I couldn't find one in the repository so if there is one this end-user experience project would have helped me :)

One thing that I think would be good would be a friendly URL. Kind of like the way Wikipedia / WordPress formats their URLS. Wouldn't be necessary for all features just the important ones.
An example would be:
xoops.org/themes/Clean_Theme_01

BUMP...

Any input on this project, or does anyone else need it?

I'm putting it off unless I get some feedback :)

--Edit, its possible that its in the wrong category... if so can a moderator move it to the appropriate category? Thanks!

Created my own "hack" for this, if anyones interested let me know.

I'm still working on my site but will post a link here with the modifcations needed to upload your own files with the mydownloads module.

Its by no means secure but works for my purpose.

Must be just the standard XOOPS module. Not wf-downloads or mydownloads I don't believe

I have already looked and read the descriptions of all downloads modules. It seems that WF-Downloads that comes bundled with 2.0.13 doesn't support uploading a new file. I guess I need to look for an updated version of this module or brew my own.

Thanks!

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a downloads module that allows a user to submit/post/upload a file rather than link to an already existing file.

I will be developing one of these soon. I have tried wsProject and find it not good enough for a simple to do list.

I am still in the planning process and havn't even mind mapped it yet.
So, before I start, any thing in particular that you would like to see?

I figure being able to manage categories, manage tasks will be the bulk of it & I kind of have down what I want for this but am open for idea's that will help other people out.

Also, you will all have to promise to use it if I'm going to go thru the trouble of making it

I believe you could just do the following.

in xoops_version.php change:

$modversion['sub'][2]['name'] = _MI_XFS_POPULAR;
$modversion['sub'][2]['url'] = "topten.php?counter=1";
$modversion['sub'][3]['name'] = _MI_XFS_RATEFILE;
$modversion['sub'][3]['url'] = "topten.php?rate=1";

to
/*
$modversion['sub'][2]['name'] = _MI_XFS_POPULAR;
$modversion['sub'][2]['url'] = "topten.php?counter=1";
$modversion['sub'][3]['name'] = _MI_XFS_RATEFILE;
$modversion['sub'][3]['url'] = "topten.php?rate=1";
*/

Not sure if this is the correct way to do it but it worked for me.

Thanks!

I have noticed this... the problem really is that if some one has a point with lots of text in it zooming and centering will not really help because the box will still be off the map :( Will have to figure something out to fix this.
