Thanks for you reply but nothing of that is usefull.

My thought is simply (I think). I want to put, inside the text body of the news or the contents or everywhere (not in themes), a tag like [blockId=5] and there to show the contents of this block. The block with id=5. Its the same way when we put an image or:
[pagebreakin the news
I want to do the same with blocks.

I am sure that someone that knows well the architecture of the blocks and how they are stored in the DB, can help me.

I know that it will be very usefull for a lot of people. Blocks can contain everything, from dynamic data of a module to php imported scripts.

I am trying to put a block inside contents text. I need something like:

[block id=5]
to show the block with id=5. With this way you can put blocks everywhere.

I tryed to do it inside the "module.textsanitizer.php" file but I dont know how to parse the blocks... can anyone help with that?

I think it will be usefull to a lot of people.

About the Xen VPS how much it costs? Witch provider do you suggest? I am planing to create my own Dedicated Server for this site. Is it very difficult to make it Xen VPS? Any tutorial??

I just find out that I can use ONLY 5-10% of these cpu resources and I have only 192MB of memory and 30% of cpu!!!

Every httpd on "top" command from linux console it uses around 20MB of memory. Is that normal????

Hello,

The server have:
Intel XEON cpu 2.20GHz
memory: 4GB

PHP 4
MySql 3,23
XOOPS 2.2.4

* Totally tableless CSS theme.
* PhpThumb (cached) for the small photos on homepage.
* All the modules they have cache time more than 1min.

The most users at the same time they are 5.

Look the stats at the bottom... 7 Querys ... but 20sec or more... Time execution. Why?

PLEASE HELP

I tryed with all the errors open but nothing. For once I update the system module and after that happens a miracle and left me to make a category! But thats it... All the other times I tryend nothing happens.

xoops 2.2.4 (utf-8)
PHP Version 4.3.2
MySql 3.23.58
Apache 2.0 (Linux)

php_flag register_globals on
php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off

I just tried to installed and it looked OK until I tried to make a new category. I see just a WHITE page after the submit and no error there. And of course no new category.

msdana did you made any hacks to your SmartFAQ?

I will ask at smartfactory...
