Thanks for the help. I guess I will just stick with 2.0.13.2.

I was currently having a problem with the newest CBB then found that the problem was that I had XOOPS 2.0.13.2 not a XOOPS 2.2.x version. Now I have a good amount done on my site (not completely done with it though) and am wondering why there are still updates to 2.0.x XOOPS when there is 2.2.x Xoops. Does each of them have their own benefits? Would it be as easy to update from 2.0.13.2 to 2.2.3 as it was to upgrade between 2.0.13.1 to 2.0.13.2? Thank you so much for your imput.

P.S I know that 2.2.3 is not officially out yet but I was just curious of the whole 2.2.x series.

I am currently attempting to use CBB 2.29 and I am using XOOPS 2.0.13.2. When I click the install button at the "Press the button below to install this module" screen all I get is a blank screen. But when I go to the "Modules Administration" it is there in the installed section but if I attempt to go into the admin section of it or attempt to view it on my site all I get is a blank page. But the weirdest thing is when I uninstall the module it shows everything as if it was working.

One thing that I was unsure about when I was attempting to upload everything was where to place the newbb.css file. In the download I got it was in the \themes\default\css directory but when I go into \themes\default directory there is no css folder so hoping for the best I just dumped file in the \themes\default directory. Is that the problem and if not would me not using the default theme be it? Or is it a completely other mistake that I did not notice? I got the CCB zip from the XOOPS news section in my my AP and the link ishttps://xoops.org.cn/modules/wfdownloads/visit.php?cid=8&lid=367 . I am in dire need for help so any kind of it would be much appreciated.

One other thing to think about before enabling linking of images to your site from somewhere else is the fact that a malicious script can be linked also. So external linking does entail a security risk as well.

With that in mind I think I am just going to play it safe. Thank you two for your help.

I have been looking for a way to have users remote link their avatars from other hosts instead of them having to be uploaded onto my space. I was wondering if it is possible to be done and if it is possible than how (an option within XOOPS I missed, a module, a hack ect). Thank you so much for your help.

I am thinking of making a video game website with reviews, faqs, cheats and the such but don't know what modules to get. The one I really want to know is what would be the best content module for me. Thank you so much for answering!

I am starting to learn how to use XOOPS then I got hit by this weird situation. I was testing the poll module and posted a comment and it says that have have been a member since 1969/12/31. What is up with that? Also is it possible to change? Thank you so much for helping me.
