I guess I'm gonna have to bump this?

Anyone any ideas?

When I try to create a new user group or change an existing user group's rank image, it just won't change. I've even tried to update the module and it still doesn't help.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've been trying to add new ranks with their own images, and even trying to change the existing rank images.

I've even updated the System module after updating them just in case. But I still get nothing.

Is it possible with XOOPS 2.2.3 Final to update the User Rank images?

Thanks!

Lol, that's why I'm still a beginner. I'm trying to get a feel for where everything is located in the XOOPS modules. I didn't realize the text would be located in the language directory, then again, it makes sense, lol!

Awesome, thanks. At least now I know where to really look for all the other pages.

Thanks a million!

Okay, how would I go about changing this text in the Sections module?

Welcome to the Special Sections at Whatever Website.

Here you can find some cool articles that are not presented on the homepage.

I was trying to look through the different files in the modules/sections/ directory, and I couldn't find where XOOPS was taking this info from.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I've setup an email through my web domain. One called mailer-noreply@demuria.com for example.

Then, when setting it up, I put in the from with that email, I put in the domain mail.demuria.com (my phpBB forums work with www.demuria.com for the email with SMTP). And I've tried both, SMTP and SMTPAuth.

I understand phpBB is different, but why would their SMTP work over Xoops? With phpBB I fill in the domain, email, userid for the email, and password, and no hitches. When I try everything I could with Xoops, it sends emails to emails setup within my domain no problem, but as soon as it tries to send it to emails outside of the domain, it gives me a send error.

I'll try playing around with it today, but is there a more detailed FAQ or Tutorial at how to setup SMTP? I've done searches and found a few bits here and there, but nothing really concrete.

Thanks for any and all help.

It seems that no matter what I do, I can't configure XOOPS to use SMTP, yet my phpBB forums use SMTP, and there are no problems with it.

Any idea as to why this would be?

Xoops Version: 2.0.13.1

NOTE: My webhost disabled the sendmail() for php, so that is why I'm looking at setting up the SMTP.

Yeah, it sorta worked. I'm still trying to find certain pages that don't have proper colours, etc.

Is there a complete list of the files somewhere? I've tried doing a few searches, and no luck.

Thanks for the help. I found what I was looking for by looking through the root of the FAQ. So hopefully now I'll figure it out.

Thanks!

Now, I have another issue. I can't seem to find the .html pages for things like sending players PM's, or when someone clicks on the [more] by the smilies, it comes up with a table of other smilies, but the background is white with white text. I'm getting that all over my site with different windows like that.

I fixed the redirect screen and it looks great. Where do all the other screens reside too?

Thank you again!
